Adelaide Oval - 26th January 2016
- With both sides beginning their preparations for the upcoming World T20, the Indians are looking to bounce back from a disappointing ODI series in which they lost four of the five game, winning the dead rubber final game, chasing 331 to win.
- In early trading, the hosts are 1.54 favourites, with the visitors trading around 2.8 to win. The hosts are rightly favourites for me, but I do expect them to trade higher than their starting price. I'll be looking to back them in running should a good opportunity arise, rather than taking an initial lay-to-back, as I can see this series quite trappy. The Adelaide Oval has seen two successful chases of 180+, and although both sides packing plenty of batting power, the visitors bowling is notably weaker, and so Australia bowling first and having to chase 180ish could see some great trading opportunities.
- After scoring 246 runs at 49.2 in his five BBL05 games, and averaging over 40 in the ODI series, Australian skipper Aaron Finch comes into this game in some good form. Ladbrokes have his run line at 20.5 here, which is too low, and I've backed over 20.5 at 1.83 here.
